Our Step by step guide
1 / Initial Consultation
Meet with the owner-builder to discuss their vision, design plans, and specific needs.
Offer advice on materials, construction methods, and timelines.
2 / Planning and Coordination
Review architectural plans to understand the project’s scope and identify key carpentry tasks.
Coordinate with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to ensure smooth workflow.
3 / Site Preparation
Assist with site setup, including marking out construction areas and preparing for foundation work.
4 / Framing the Structure
Construct the home’s framework, including walls, floors, roof trusses, and supports.

Ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes.
5 / Lock up Carpentry
Install cladding, external doors, and windows.
6 / Finish Carpentry
Fit doors, skirting boards, architraves, timber flooring and other timber details.
7 / External Carpentry
Build decks, verandahs, or outdoor living areas as required.
8 / Ongoing Support
